Products Description
Application: Used on 35kV class pad-mounted transformers, switchgear, cable accessories, and junction points in American-style (ANSI/IEEE) medium-voltage distribution and sub-transmission networks. The live-line operation capability is a primary benefit for maintaining system reliability.
Voltage Selection: For 35kV systems (max 40.5kV), Ur=36kV is typical for effectively grounded systems; Ur=42kV for ungrounded or resonant grounded systems
Interface Compatibility: Must match exactly with the bushing interface (200A #3 or 600A #5 series)
Installation: Can be installed using hot sticks on energized equipment by qualified personnel
Maintenance: Visible break design allows visual verification of separation
Protection: Coordinates with transformer BIL (typically 150-200kV for 35kV class)
