Products Description

The Epoxy Resin Transducer for Switchgear is a compact, passive sensor that converts high voltage or high current signals into low voltage / low current analog signals (e.g., 0-10V, 4-20mA, or 0-1A) for protection relays, metering devices, and SCADA systems in medium voltage switchgear.

Unlike traditional electromagnetic PTs (potential transformers) and CTs (current transformers), this epoxy cast transducer uses capacitive or resistive divider technology for voltage measurement, or Rogowski coil / shunt technology for current measurement. It is designed for 12kV – 40.5kV switchgear applications, including AIS, GIS, RMU, and C-GIS.
