The 3P 5Pos Oil Immersed Rotary Tap Changer is a de-energized tap changer (DETC) designed for three-phase distribution transformers rated up to 35kV / 2500kVA. It allows manual adjustment of the transformer's voltage ratio by changing the number of turns on the high voltage winding, compensating for input voltage variations.
This 5-position (5档) switch provides ±2 × 2.5% or ±4 × 1.25% voltage regulation, with the center position representing nominal tap. The rotary (rotating) operation offers smooth, positive detent action with clear position indication. Fully oil-immersed design ensures reliable operation within the transformer tank.
