The 35kV inner-cone plug-in cable termination is a key high-voltage cable accessory, designed to connect XLPE-insulated power cables to 35kV electrical equipment (e.g., GIS switchgear, transformers) via inner-cone sockets (compliant with EN50181). It features an all-dry, pluggable structure , relying on a pre-molded silicone rubber stress cone to optimize electric field distribution at the cable shield cut-off point.
Its core advantages include quick plug-in installation (reusable for ≥20 cycles), all-insulated/sealed design (resistant to pollution, condensation, and salt spray), and wide adaptability (operating temperature: -40℃ to 95℃; applicable to altitudes ≤3000m). It is widely used in 35kV substations, cable distribution boxes, and transformer connections, delivering reliable electrical performance (partial discharge ≤10pC, power frequency withstand voltage 110kV/5min) for medium-voltage power systems.
