Products Description
The density monitor uses spring tubes and bimetallic strips (temperature compensation) as the main sensing elements, which are used to control and monitor the density of gas in a closed container. It can display the gas density inside the equipment on site. When the density value reaches the set value, it will promptly issue alarm, interlock and overpressure alarm signals. It can be widely applied to SF6 circuit breakers, ring main units, gas-filled cabinets, environmental protection gas cabinets, pole-mounted switches and transformers to ensure the safe operation of the equipment.
Measurement range
Insulating oil density: approximately 0.85-0.95 g/cm ³ :(at 20°C)
SF6 gas density: approximately 6.14 kg/m ³ at standard pressure (at 20°C)
Alarm threshold
An alarm will sound when the density of SF6 gas is 10% lower than the rated value, and a circuit breaker may trip when it is 15% lower.
