What Is A Current Limiting Backup Fuse?
In simple terms, a backup fuse is used to break large fault currents. It serves short-circuit protection. It is not responsible for breaking a small overload current or a fault current of a small multiple.

The internal structure of the high voltage fuse is shown as follows:

Installation and maintenance
The fuse should have reliable support. Connect the two ends of the fuse to the busbar with two M6 or M10 bolts and tighten the bolts with a wrench.
When the fuses of one or two phases in a three-phase circuit operate, in accordance with the requirements of the IEC60282-1 standard: it is recommended to replace all three fuses simultaneously.
The oil temperature when the fuse is operating normally should not exceed 85℃.
